Melvin Olaes (pronounced Oh-lah-ehs) was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, grew up in New Jersey and is currently a New Yorker. He made his professional acting debut on a skit on the Late Show with David Letterman. He's proud to have worked with the late, great Patrice O'neal in the Comedy Central pilot, Patrice O'neal's Guide to White People. A lover of adventure, he has appeared as a series regular on Discovery Channel's Outward Bound. He has experience doing user-suggested live public interactive street improv on modmylife.com,

He is a huge geek, particularly for film, comics and video games. His dream roles include Benedict Arnold and Helen Keller.
